The Royal British Columbia Museum Corporation collects and preserves items relating to the whole of the province’s natural and human history. We have over seven million objects and specimens and millions of significant government documents and records; substantial photographic, audio and video collections; artworks; and an extensive library of publications.
We are governed by policies clearly outlining the stewardship of our collections, and by our corporate responsibility to the government of British Columbia. Reports, plans and policies relating to these roles are available here.
